There’s one more sword hanging over our heads. If we analyse the event of water formation, when it first occurred on Earth, we will find that this event was caused by the conjunction of cosmic rays. Cosmic rays are the only cause of this event, and subsequently, the continuity of water has become established on Earth. There has been degradation in Earth’s environment. This could lead to the possibility of the same cosmic rays affecting in an adverse manner and causing water to disappear from Earth. Scientists have identified all the sources which have caused damage to the environment. Merely identifying these sources will not fix the damage; we need to rebuild. Rebuilding requires us to first stop the excesses we have been committing against Earth. We read in newspapers how the extraction of fossil fuels, coal, and the use of poisonous materials in warfare have caused immense damage to Earth’s shield, i.e., the atmosphere. If it is true, then we will have to stop all such activities. It is a great quality of humans that they think of reparation after causing damage, a quality not found in animals. However, humans haven’t done anything to repair the damage they have caused to the environment. On the contrary, it is getting worse by the day. How long can it go on like this? Will we ever do anything to repair the damage we have inflicted on Earth?
Earth has kept provisioning for humans to live safely, but humans with all their intelligence rebelled, attacked and exploited Earth. Humans have been engaged in damaging their environment from the very beginning. The damage increased with the coming of the scientific age, therefore we now find ourselves in trouble. If a man is drowning in a river, then there is still a possibility that he may resurface, and get saved. It is up to us now, whether we want to act on the possibility of saving Earth. Circumstances are created from thoughts. If we want something then circumstances become favourable for it, and if we don’t want something then circumstances become unfavourable for it. It is because of our own lack of understanding that we erred in the evaluation of reality, and the magnificence of the natural environment. As a result, we caused damage to nature and harmed ourselves in many ways. While causing this damage, we have been enjoying ourselves, but we are afraid also of the possibility of getting harmed ourselves. This is the analysis of the past.
When humans become ready for living in orderliness based on humane consciousness, only then Jeevan vidya is transmitted from one to another.

सकता है उसके पश्चात यह परीक्षण किया जा सकेगा कि अभी तक जो गढ्ढे किये गये हैं उसे धरती स्वयं पाटने में कितनी सक्षम है।
तीसरे एक और तलवार मानव पर लटक रही है। इस धरती पर जब भी पानी बनने की घटना हुई होगी, ऐसी घटना के मूल में यदि शोध किया जाए तो ब्रम्हाण्डीय किरणों के संयोग से यह घटना घटित हुई है ब्रम्हाण्डीय किरणें ही इस घटना का एक मात्र स्रोत है अब उसकी निरंतरता बन चुकी है। अभी धरती के वातावरण का क्षय हुआ है। इससे ऐसी संभावना बन सकती है कि वही ब्रम्हाण्डीय किरणें यदि विपरीत विधि से प्रभाव डालें तो धरती पर से पानी समाप्त हो सकता है। जिस-जिस स्रोत से धरती का आवरण क्षतिग्रस्त हुआ है विज्ञानी उसे पता लगा लिए हैं। केवल स्रोत पता लगाने से तो क्षति ठीक होगी नहीं, बनाने की आवश्यकता है। बनाने की विधा में यही बात आती है धरती के साथ जो-जो अत्याचार किया है उसे रोकना पड़ेगा। खनिज तेल, कोयला और विषाक्त गैसों और तरल पदार्थों को जो मानव ने युद्ध की सामग्री के लिए बनाया है उसी से धरती का सुरक्षा कवच क्षतिग्रस्त हुआ ऐसा पेपर में पढ़ने आता है। यदि यह सच्चाई है तो इन सब प्रक्रियाओं को रोकना होगा जिससे धरती का वातावरण क्षतिग्रस्त होता है। मानव क्षतिग्रस्त करने के बाद क्षतिपूर्ति का उपाय भी सोचता है, करता है यह बहुत बड़ा गुण है जबकि अन्य जीवों में ऐसा नहीं होता। किन्तु धरती की क्षतिपूर्ति के लिए मानव ने अभी तक कोई कार्य नहीं किया। बल्कि हर दिन और बिगड़ाव देखने को मिलता है। कब तक करेंगे? क्या कभी इस बिगड़ाव को ठीक करने के बारे में कुछ करेंगे?
धरती, मानव को सुरक्षित विधि से जीने का विधान बनाती रही है, किन्तु मानव ने अपनी बुद्धि से सारी धरती के साथ विद्रोह किया, धरती पर आक्रमण तथा शोषण किया। आदिकाल से ही मानव धरती के वातावरण को बिगाड़ने में लगा है। विज्ञान युग के बाद ज्यादा बिगड़ाव हुआ, इसलिए हम संकटग्रस्त हो गये हैं। कोई आदमी नदी में डूबता है तो उभरता भी है ये संभावना रखी हुई है। तो धरती को बचाने की संभावना को हम आचरण करना चाहते हैं कि नहीं, यह हमारे विचारों के ऊपर है। विचारों से परिस्थितियाँ बन जाती हैं अगर चाहते हैं तो परिस्थितियाँ अनुकूल हो जाती हैं, नहीं चाहते हैं तो प्रतिकूल हो जाती है। अपनी बुद्धि भ्रमित होने के कारण वास्तविकता का, प्रकृति के वातावरण की महिमा का मूल्यांकन करने में चूक गये। फलस्वरूप हम विविध प्रकार से क्षतिग्रस्त हुए और प्रकृति को क्षतिग्रस्त किये। क्षतिग्रस्त करते तक हम खुशहाली मनाएं लेकिन स्वयं क्षतिग्रस्त होने की संभावना से डरते भी हैं। यह हुआ विगत का विश्लेषण। मानव संचेतना से यदि मानव व्यवस्था में जीने को तत्पर होता है तभी जीवन विद्या एक दूसरे के पास
