जीवन विद्या एक परिचय

Crimes cannot be controlled through lack of understanding, constitutional means or otherwise; a crime is still a crime. All the nations on this Earth have their respective Constitutions. Each of these Constitutions has three main agendas and one common theme i.e. ‘Power-Centric Rule’. Power-Centric Rule gets implemented in the form of three activities - stopping one mistake by making another mistake, stopping one crime by committing another crime, and stopping one war by waging another war. Yet there is no evidence anywhere if these three actions could rid us of crimes. Rather with every passing day, month, year, century, these three have only been increasing. History is full of accounts of wars becoming fiercer, crimes getting more prevalent, and one mistake leading to another. The pages of history give testimony of this.

If we search for the root cause, we find that humans alone are responsible for creating these circumstances. Another significant factor is the 'religious constitution'. All religions believe that humans are fundamentally sinners, ignorant, and selfish. However, the reality is different from this. To deliver sinners, turn the ignorant into wise, and the selfish into charitable, each religion prescribes its methods, ideals, duties, responsibilities, and rituals. This is very much apparent. What has been the net outcome of these efforts? So far, there is no evidence of any ignorant person becoming wise, any selfish person becoming charitable, or any sinner being emancipated as a result of these efforts.

I had mentioned earlier that sadhana is performed until samadhi is achieved. During this period, there is no resolution in thoughts, and the mind remains perturbed since it is suffering from problems that drive one towards samadhi in the first place. Until samadhi, the greatness of a human is only in terms of their sincere efforts. During sadhana, one may get all kinds of absurd thoughts, which get extinguished after samadhi. The alternative path is - perform study, attain mastery, then evidence it in living.

It has also been observed that after attaining the state of samadhi, a human being is left with no desire to do anything, achieve anything, or keep anything. So, how did I develop the desire to present all this? I have already mentioned to you that my pursuit of samadhi was not for some liberation or heaven; it was to find answers to my questions. When I did not find answers in the state of samadhi, I began scrutinising whether I had truly attained samadhi or not. During this scrutiny, I understood all these concepts. This understanding emerged due to the good deeds of humankind, for their future, and for universal wellbeing. It has not come out of books. This is a fact. My elders had guided me only to the extent that I would find the answer in the state of samadhi.
