This ignorance about the self has been a major source of distress for humans. If the self is understood, then everything that follows will also be understood. The Jeevan Vidya plan is designed to overcome this very hurdle. The central point of this plan is to impart the understanding of jeevan. There is equal potential in all humans, young or old, to comprehend it. Jeevan is the basis of equality among humans. The bodies of any two humans are never the same, but jeevan exists in the same form in all humans. The strengths and powers of jeevan are the same, and the goal of every jeevan is the same. Jeevan wants to become awakened, and awakening only is its goal. Every human seeks resolution and justice. All of us can verify this fact. There is no part of the body that is awaiting or desiring justice, nor is there any part that seeks resolution. Similarly, no part of the body desires prosperity, even though every human naturally yearns for justice, resolution, and prosperity. Therefore, the conclusion is that justice, resolution, prosperity, and truth are the desires of jeevan because humans are a combination of jeevan and body. It is imperative to understand jeevan and its activities, and to comprehend justice, dharma, and truth for jeevan’s satisfaction. This, in a nutshell, is the task ahead. The Jeevan Vidya Plan has been presented based on this understanding, which turned into a program. The stalwarts of science and those who don’t know any science, the learned ones, and the ordinary people - have all heard this proposal. Some have understood it and are making efforts for others to understand it, and have become successful. It was then that I became confident that what I have understood is relevant and authentic, that everyone can understand it, and upon understanding they can make others understand.
The second plan is Humanisation of Education (shiksha ka manviyakaran). To become wise is everyone’s inherent need. Therefore, let us incorporate the entire content of the understanding into education. We made a curriculum to that end and experimented with it in a school. This school was at Govindpur in Bijnaur district, and it was a very good experience there. There is a long-standing belief of educationists that the environment affects the students, but in Govindpur, we experienced that the students affect their environment. We aspire to see this success on a large scale, and are making efforts towards this.
The third plan is Family based Self-Governing System (parivar moolak svarajya vyavastha). It is to bring about a resolution centric system in place of the power-centric rule.
This understanding has thus been articulated in the form of the holistic view, the ideology, the treatises and the plans.

जीवन विद्या एक परिचय
नहीं पाये। ये जो स्वयं के प्रति अनभिज्ञता है यही आदमी को ज्यादा परेशान किये हैं। यदि ये समझ में आ जाये तो आगे की जो बात है वह समझ में आयेगी ही। इसी कठिनाई को दूर करने के लिए जीवन विद्या योजना है। इस योजना का केन्द्र बिन्दु जीवन है। जो बच्चे-बूढ़े सभी मानवों में समान रूप से समझने का अधिकार विद्यमान है। मानव की समानता का आधार जीवन ही है। शरीर किसी भी दो मानव के एक समान होते नहीं है। जीवन समान है, जीवन की शक्तियाँ व बल समान है, जीवन का लक्ष्य समान है। जीवन जागृत होना चाहता है, जागृति ही इसका (जीवन का) लक्ष्य है। हर व्यक्ति समाधान को पाना चाहता है, हर व्यक्ति, न्याय चाहता है। आप सब इस बात को जाँच सकते हैं। आपका कोई अंग अवयव ऐसा नहीं है जिसमें न्याय की प्रतीक्षा हो, न्याय को चाहता हो। शरीर का कोई अंग समाधान को चाहता हो। उसी प्रकार शरीर का कोई अंग अवयव नहीं है जो समृद्धि चाहता हो, जबकि मानव न्याय, समाधान, समृद्धि चाहता ही है। अतः यह निष्कर्ष निकलता है कि न्याय, समाधान, समृद्धि, सत्य यह सब जीवन की ही चाहत है क्योंकि जीवन और शरीर के रूप में मानव है। अतः जीवन के स्वरूप को समझा जाये जीवन की क्रियाओं को समझा जाये, जीवन तृप्त होने के लिये न्याय, धर्म, सत्य को समझा जाये यही छोटा सा काम इसमें से निकला है। इसी के आधार पर जीवन विद्या योजना प्रस्तुत किये हैं। उसे कार्ययोजना में परिणीत किया। विज्ञान के दिग्गज तथा विज्ञान नहीं जानने वाले ज्ञानी-अज्ञानी सभी इसे सुने हैं कुछ लोग समझ गये हैं और दूसरों को समझाने में लग गये हैं और समझाने में सफल हो गये हैं। तब हमें विश्वास हुआ कि जो हम समझे हैं वह सार्थक है और प्रमाणित है, इसे सब समझ सकते हैं और समझ कर समझा सकते हैं।
दूसरी योजना है- शिक्षा का मानवीकरण। समझदार होना सबकी आवश्यकता है ही। इसलिये समझदारी की सारी वस्तुओं को शिक्षा में समावेश किया जाये। उसके लिये पाठ्यक्रम बनाया गया, स्कूल में प्रयोग किया गया। वह स्कूल है बिजनौर जिले के गोविन्दपुर में। वहाँ पर एक बहुत अच्छा अनुभव हुआ। पहले सारे शिक्षाविद् यह बोलते रहे कि विद्यार्थियों पर वातावरण का प्रभाव पड़ता है। पर गोविन्दपुर में अनुभव किया गया कि विद्यार्थियों का प्रभाव वातावरण पर पड़ता है। इसको विशाल रूप में देखने का अरमान है उसके लिये प्रयत्न जारी है। तीसरी योजना है- परिवार मूलक स्वराज्य व्यवस्था। शक्ति केन्द्रित शासन के स्थान पर समाधान केन्द्रित व्यवस्था। इस तरह से दर्शन, शास्त्र, और योजनाएं निस्पंदित होती है।
